Screws connect many objects and structures around us. There are different types of screws, but they are too standardized and too boring. The question is, Can the screws be connected or modified in a variety of unusual ways? The ScrewConnected title is a way of experimenting and collecting to change the function and structure of a typical screw and connect it in different ways.
/ Process /
The first work started with no motive, purpose to draw screws,
but nevertheless many random shapes were created.
Then I design screws with the combination of different everyday things. From large furniture to small products (bench, chair, thermos, trash can, small parts, etc.)
I divided the categories into four categories and developed different versions of the structure and form within the four categories.
The first category is screws, which do not require a screwing machine.
The second is function screws.
The third is jewelry screws.
The fourth is infinite, modular screws.
